Single Product

Triptigab

TRIPTIGAB™ is a dual-action formulation combining Gabapentin and Nortriptyline for the effective management of neuropathic pain. The combination targets multiple pain pathways, providing enhanced relief from chronic neuropathic symptoms while improving patient comfort and quality of life. Gabapentin modulates neuronal calcium channels, reducing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters involved in pain transmission. Nortriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant, enhances descending inhibitory pain pathways through modulation of norepinephrine and serotonin activity.

Neuropathic pain is a common yet under-recognized complication in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), particularly those with diabetic kidney disease, uremic neuropathy, and dialysis-related nerve dysfunction. TRIPTIGAB™ helps address symptoms such as burning sensation, tingling, numbness, electric shock-like pain, hyperalgesia, and sleep disturbances associated with neuropathy.

The low-dose combination offers synergistic pain control, allowing effective symptom management with improved tolerability and reduced pill burden.

How Pregabalin + Nortriptyline works

Pregabalin + Nortriptyline is a combination of two medicines: Pregabalin and Nortriptyline. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases the pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
